Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. First illustrated edition with foreword of 11 pages by the author and 19 woodcut illustrations. Quarter green cloth with green and white decorated boards. 343 pages, edges untrimmed, top edge dyed green.

Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Tiny booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Name and date (small) in ink to front free-endpaper. Some light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is faded and slightly worn to spine and edges.
