Now in old age he is enjoying retirement in Britain when peace was shattered by Queen Boudicca and her savage tribesmen rising up against the Romans. Orange and green pictorial boards. Ex-Library, surface paper damage to rear endpapers with removal of labels plus typing. Ink stamps to publisher's page and last page of text. Spine and corners bumped. Board edges rubbed. Slight darkening to bottom of spine. Foxing to page edges. Brown marks to several pages. Dustwrapper is edgeworn with a couple of small tears. Tape has been stuck to top and bottom of spine and folds on verso with a little showing on the front. Wrapper may have been stuck to rear pastedown at some time and has couple of glue marks to verso of rear flap.
