A story set against the conflicts and hardships of early American history. Yellow boards, red title to spine. 192 pages. Spine bumped. Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is a little edge worn with tape repairs on verso and slightly grubby to rear panel.

The life of the famour Norseman Harald the Stern - Harald Hardrada - during the years 1034 to 1044, which he spent in the Byzantine Empire as captain of the Greek Emperor's northern guard. Dark grey cloth boards, silver title to spine. Spine cocked. Text block browned and with minor foxing. Endpapers browned. Yellow pictorial dustwrapper is browned and a little grubby.

Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Price-cut dustwrapper is very worn and edge chipped, front flap is almost detached.
