Anne is afraid of the dark and to her brother's surprise it is from the gentle unicorns her uncle carves as figure-heads for sailing ships that she finally learns courage. Red cloth, silver title to spine. Colour illustrations. 49 pages. Translated by Katharine Potts.
A little wear to spine and corners. Nick to top edge of rear cover. Small bookseller's label to front pastedown. Light page edge browning to contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few tears and chips, slight loss from top of spine. Rear panel grubby.
