  • Billy Bunter was in the depths of despair. He was in trouble all round with everyone. When he had a letter from his cousin Wally, staying in the neighbouring seaside resort of Pegg, it gave him an idea. Wally and Bunter were identical in appearance and Bunter persuaded Wally to change places with him. Wally found himself at Greyfriars with masters and boys out for his blood. But Wally was made of sterner stuff and the school was amazed at the sight of Bunter (as they thought) being intelligent in the classroom, knocking out the Bounder in a boxing contest and helping Greyfriars win a vital cricket match. But when Bunter returns from the delights of Pegg he discovers that Wally had st him a terribly high standard to live up to.
