Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The last of the Chalet School Series to be published. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w frontispiece. 171 pages.

Spine and corners a little bumped. Board edges are faded. Prize plate to front endpaper. Couple of hinges beginning to crack. A few foxspots otherwise contents are clean and bright. Dustwrapper is slightly edgeworn. Spine is faded. Rear panel is grubby.

  • No term at the Chalet School is ever uneventful, and this - the last for the Maynard Triplets and the last for the Chalet School- is no exception to the rule. A quiet afternoon had a near unhappy ending and Examinations, Sports and the Sale all produce their own excitements. This term the Prefects find they have even more varies duties to perform.
  • Romance is to the fore and the end of term sees a very popular engagement. Happily, too the last days at the Chalet School for the other Prefects see them settled and ready to take their places as responsible adults.
