"Sanders of the River," who with a handful of Houssas, and a steam launch, kept order in a Central African territory larger than Great Britain. As soon as native Chiefs realised that "Sandi" had gone the fat was in the fire. This story stells of his recall and how he restored peace to the land. Red cloth boards, black title to spine.
Endpapers and text block browned. Pictorial dustwrapper is worn at top & tail of spine, lightly edge-worn and is scuffed and grubby to rear panel.
