Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Part I: Medieval; Part II: Sub-Medieval; Part III: Renaissance. Red cloth. B/w photos and numerous line drawings. Spines and corners are bumped. Spines are sunned. Endpapers are lightly browned, there is some light foxing to each volume. Dustwrappers are slightly worn at spine and corners with minimal loss. A nice set.

Bound in three-quarter brown calf. Gilt titles to spine. Folding maps, b/w photos. Vol LXXXI 1926 pages 133-179; Vol LXXXII 1927 pages 232-268; Vol LXXXIII 1928 pages 33-110; Vol LXXXIV 1929 pages 1-60; Vol LXXXV 1930 pages 1-73; Vol LXXXVI 1931 pages 1-74. The author over 5 years excavated and investigated several sections of the Dyke starting in North Wales in Flintshire and ending in Gloucestershire in the South. Corners rubbed. Front cover scuffed. All first issues as per dates.
