Large format. Brown cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front. Brown and white pictorial endpapers. 16 superb colour plates. Poems that are 'the very essence of the British spirit' selected and introduced by Nichols. Bumping to spine and corners. Foxing/grubby marks to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Includes a card from Brock. Wrapper is price-cut with edge-creasing; some chips and nicks; some repaired to verso with sticky tape. Wrapper also has some grubby and brown marks.
