Oblong format. Blue cloth spine. Profusely illustrated in bright colours. Cloth spine is browned, with some wear; couple of small nicks to top and tail. Scuffing to covers. Corners are heavily worn; some bumped. Front endpaper is MISSING. Prelims are loose, with creasing, foxing and edge-chipping and small tears. Front joint is broken: some weak stitching can be seen. Some foxing and grubby margin marks. Illustrations are still nice and bright. A reading copy.
