Small format book with cream cloth and silver titles. 56 numbered pages, all edges gilt. With explanatory leaflet giving a brief biography of Beatrix Potter and the history of the publication of The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin. Contained in a brown hinged box with silver title and circular onlay to front. Also includes a brown leather foil-blocked bookmark.
Still has all original packaging and boxes etc. This is Copy No. 231. This copy would make a wonderful gift. Small crease to wraparound band internally.
