Slightly better than good condition. A Tale of the siege of Gibraltar (1779-83) Brown pictorial cloth. 7 b/w plates, 2 views and a map. All edges green.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cloth at top and bottom of spine a little split. Board edges rubbed. Light mottling to rear cover. Front and rear joints beginning to crack. Some hinges pulled. Small piece of rear pastedown looks like it has been glued back down leaving a little surface paper damage and glue mark. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing and fingering throughout including to some margins of plates.
