Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Red boards, black titles. B/w illustrations. 222 pages.

A little bumping to base of spine and lower corners. Small dark mark to front cover. Light page edge browning and an odd fox spot to contents. Dustwrapper has loss from top of spine and is edge worn and chipped. Numerous pieces of paper have been stuck to verso in an attempt to hide loss and strengthen. Rear panel a little grubby.

  • High on Bunter's list of needs, taking only second place to large quantities of tuck comes an abundance of comfort. Bunter is not the most energetic of pupils and his armchair came in for more than its fair share of service. So when it gave up the struggle it was essential that a new chair be found. Fortunately a bargain was at hand as the furniture in the cottage room once occupied by Freddy Dexter, the local Teddy Boy, before he went to jail was for sale. But when Dexter came out he showed a surprising amount of interest in the old chair and the Famous Five began to wonder why.
