Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Everyone agreed that Jennings' plan to raise money for a worthy cause was highly commendable. They agreed too that Jennings' plans always worked well on paper but in practice they often ran into such disaster that he was obliged to think of new ones to stave off disaster! Pale grey boards with red title to spine. 4 b/w illustrations. 192 pages, top edge red.
Spine and corners a little bumped. Spine and board edges are slightly browned. Name and address stamped in red ink to top of front pastedown where there is also a small patch of surface paper damage. Foxing mainly to page edges. Small mark to bottom of one page otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is a little edge worn and browned. A little foxing and a few marks to rear panel. Browning to verso.
