Nearly fine condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. After being seriously wounded in the 1939 Polish campaign, Rochus Misch was invited to join Hitler's SS-Leibstandarte. There he served until the war's end as Hitler's bodyguard, courier, orderly and finally as chief of communications. Originally published in German in 2008 under the title Der Letze Zeuge. Introduction by Roger Moorhouse. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos.
Minor bump to top rear edge of spine. Contents fine. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed to rear panel.
