This book celebrates the new collaboration between the National Trust and the Tate Gallery over the world-famous collection of paintings by Turner at Petworth, his association with that house and the patronage of the third Earl of Egremont. Oblong format. Red cloth boards, black title label with gilt title to spine. Colour & b/w illustrations. 300 pages including index. ISBN: 1854370049. Foxing to top edge of text block, contents clean. Cream pictorial dustwrapper is slightly grubby.

Brown cloth boards, purple titles. Square format. Colour and b/w illustrations. To accompany exhibition held 18 November 1970 - 24 January 1971. Some light tape marks to front board from repairs to verso of the wrapper. Name in ink to front endpaper. Contents clean. Wrapper is edge creased and torn, with tape repairs to verso (tape showing through the wrapper).
