Spine and top front corner bumped. Top of spine lightly browned. Name and date in pen to front endpaper. Some light foxing and browning, mainly to endpapers and text block. Just an odd mark to contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with loss from top of spine and small hole near base. Spine lightly browned and rubbed, rear panel slightly grubby. Light foxing/browning to verso.

Red boards, dark titles and vignettes to spine and front cover. Colour frontis + b/w illustrations. 216 pages. Base of spine and top corners bumped. Small white mark to base of spine. Name, address and date in ink to front endpaper. Small bookseller's label to rear endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and text block, especially top edge of text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss from top of spine and folds, small tear to base of front panel and a grubby rear panel. A little wear to spine, light foxing/browning on verso.

All plates present. Dustwrapper has some edge wear with a couple of small tears, chips and creases. Loss from base of spine disguised by photocopy underneath. Clear tape repairs to tears on verso. 5 written on front panel near fold. Corners cut from flaps.
