Blue cloth with pink title to spine. Bumping to corners. Some fading/browning to cover edges. Front endpaper is MISSING. Ink stamp from previous owner to half-title page. Page browning, with some foxing; mostly to outer page edges. Wrapper is price-cut with faded spine; large closed tears; chipping, with a little loss; creased.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
The story of a young prince whose mother didn't believe in fairies and would n't invite them to the christening. They came anyway and one of their gifts was the quality of being too clever which led to the prince being unpopular.Orange cloth boards with blue title to spine and vignette to front board. Pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations. 108 pages. Spine and corners are bumped and rubbed. Browning to board edges. Couple of marks to rear board. Inscription in ink to front flyleaf. Foxing mainly to endpapers and page edges otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased. Loss to top and bottom of spine with a few closed tears. Some sellotape to verso of wrapper to repair some of the tears.

B/w illustrations. 93 pages plus publication list. Bumping to spine and corners. Slight fading to top of spine. Page 43/44 has tear alongside spine with crease to inside corner also small margin tear. A little foxing to page edges. Dustwrapper has loss at top of spine with creasing and tear to front panel, repair attempted on verso with white label. Also some chipping and a few small margin tears.

Byron Omar Shakespeare Kipling Yeats Goldfish was so small when he was born that if he hadn't been all shining gold...nobody would have known he was there at all. Bumping and wear to corners; a little chipping. Front cover is a little bowed. Odd foxspot and margin mark. Illustrations are remarkably bright!

Small white tippex mark to front endpaper. Foxing to some pages and a faint splash marks to a couple of pages. Dustwrapper is edge torn. Loss to top and bottom of spine and a few small tears which have been covered on verso with white paper. Rear panel and edge of flat is a little grubby.
