Small piece of blue sticky paper to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. A few foxspots to page edges. Dustwrapper is edgeworn and torn with small area of loss to bottom of rear panel. Spine is faded. Foxing to flaps and verso.

Spine and corners bumped. Covers are sunned, light scratch mark to rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers browned, light foxing to textblock and heavier foxspots to prelims. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with damp stains to sides of spine, 2" loss to top of spine and a small patch of loss to centre of rear panel.

There is foxing to the contents (which affects the b/w plates but not the colour ones) but otherwise this is a lovely, bright copy. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
