Very small format. Black cloth spine, pictorial boards. Pretty colour illustrations. Minimal rubbing at corners. Contents fine. Tissue-paper wrapper is very slightly edge chipped and creased. Scarce in wrapper.

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Wayside and Woodland Series. Burgundy cloth, gilt titles and fly vignette to front. Pink pictorial endpapers. Colour & b/w illustrations. 383 pages including index. A few small marks to boards. Gilt is still bright. Text block browned. A few scattered foxspots to contents and a few grubby marks e.g. page 15 (see photo). Contents generally very nice. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed, lightly faded to spine, lightly scuffed, front flap has had tape on it at some point which has stained the flap vertically with some loss of surface paper.

Cream cloth spine with green title, green cloth covers with gilt title to front. Mounted colour plates with captioned tissue-guards. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Contents are clean. Very grubby dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with slight loss but also spine of wrapper is MISSING.
