Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
New Naturalist series. Green cloth covers. 368 pages. 56 colour photos, 24 black and white plates, 32 distribution maps, and 9 other diagrams. A fascinating volume. Boards clean. Text block browned and a little grubby. Gift inscription in ink to front pastedown is mostly hidden by the front flap of the dustwrapper. Contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is lightly browned, a little rubbed at spine edges, tiny chip and minor creasing to top of spine, spine is very lightly faded, couple of tiny closed tears to lower edge of rear panel. Overall a very nice example.

Blue cloth, gilt titles and vignettes. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Wayside and Woodland series. Glue to front board holding down cloth is starting to dry out (cloth moves slightly). Spine is lightly sunned. Text block lightly browned. A few minor foxspots and some light browning to prelims. Blue dustwrapper with pictorial onlay to front is creased, a couple of small closed tears to lower edge (no loss) and a little marked.
