Very good condition.
Cream cloth spine with black title. Front cover shows children feeding the birds. First story is 'The New Ball Goes to See'. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners slightly worn. Name and date in ink in belongs to box. Endpapers are very lightly browned. Some light foxing to textblock. A nice copy.

White pictorial cloth. 12 mounted colour plates (with tissue-guards) plus b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Bump/dent to top edge of rear cover. White cloth slightly grubby, spine browned. Some light foxing to prelims. Tobacco smell to contents.

Blue cloth, red titles and vignettes. 159 numbered pages. Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped, some light rubbing/bumping to cover edges. Prize inscription in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to contents and some small marks to page margins. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with some marks and browned to spine.

Buff paper-covered boards with cream cloth spine. Colour onlay to front cover. 8 exquisite colour plates plus 16 b/w illustrations. 64 pages. Damp/splash mark to top corner of front cover and along top of rear cover. Spine is grubby. Some foxing. All plates present.

Very good condition.
An anthology of short stories. Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial front board showing boy and girl on a swing. 8 full-page colour illustrations, b/w text illustrations throughout. First story is "The Knight and the Dragon" (told in rhyme). Spine bumped, corners worn. Covers are slightly grubby with a few small ink spots to rear cover. Gold address label to top margin of front pastedown (which is also the frontis - but it is in the margin so picture not affected). Prize plate neatly inserted at inner margin of title-page. Grubby fingermarks and pale page browning to contents. Neat list of illustrator names written in pencil to verso of title-page.

Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
Large format, cream cloth spine. Beige boards with pictorial onlay to front. 8 pretty colour plates. B/w text illustrations. A little bumping to spine and corners. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Browning to page edges. Small tears to bottom of some pages. Top corner of page 11/12 missing. Stain to bottom of page 44 and margin of plate opposite, also affects a few pages before. Couple of hinges pulled leading to bottom of a couple of plates being detached. Contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears, creases and several small areas of loss. Wrapper is grubby with a few marks. Some browning to verso.
