Cloth spine. Pictorial front board showing girl playing tennis. Includes "A Horrible Fix" by D.F. Bruce. Colour plates, b/w illustrations. Spine bumped and worn with splits. Covers edge worn. Scuffing to covers. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Name in pencil to front pastedown and some green crayon marks to front free-endpaper. Pencil scribbles to margins of a couple of plates. Biro mark to margin of a text page. Pencil doodles to rear endpapers. Heavy foxing and fingering. Pages 46/7 have large brown marks (from something which was pressed between the pages.

Dark blue cloth, silver title to spine. Endpapers decorated with fairies. Colour frontis. B/w plates and tailpieces. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Light dusty mark to top edge of front cover. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with loss and grubby on rear panel.

Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

Bottom of rear joint starting to crack. Small bookseller's label to rear pastedown. Some light foxing and just an odd mark to contents. All plates present.

B/w illustrations throughout. Unpaginated. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners slightly worn. Covers are a little grubby and there is a patch of surface paper damage to spine edge of rear cover. Contents are foxed and browned but otherwise clean.
