De-luxe edition limited to 450 copies. Cream vellum binding, gilt titles, pictorial onlay to front cover. Very pretty illustrations in delicate pastel colours. Oblong format. All edges gilt. Rhymes set to music. SIGNED by illustrator. Covers ever so slightly marked, corners a little bumped and rubbed. Ties missing. Endpapers heavily foxed. Grubby fingermarks to some page margins but generally contents clean. A nice example - copy no. 4.

Page 12 and facing page 13 has paper residue to bottom corners and small mark. Pictorial wrapper is foxed and torn at edges with loss including most of spine missing (of dustwrapper).

A few hinges are a little weak.

Small closed margin tears on pages 111, 113 and 161. A few faint foxspots to endpapers and a few faint margins marks else contents bright and clean. A very nice copy of this handsome book.
