Slight bumping to spine and corners. Child's name in part ink and part pencil to front free-endpaper. Some light pen marks to textblock edge. Contents are browned but otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed with a few small doodles to rear panel.

A delightful story with the Sussex Downs as background, in which the Grays move from the Midlands to open a cafe in a little town near to the sea. Orange boards, black title to spine. 159 pages. B/w illustrations. Minimal bumping to spine. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Inscription in red ink to front endpaper has been partially erased. Some page edge browning and foxing. Price-cut dustwrapper is just a little edge worn with a small brown mark to top edge of front flap.

A Lone Pine Story. Red cloth, black titles. Full-page b/w illustrations plus b/w maps to the endpapers. 200 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Inscription in ink and some pencil markings (old price and date) to half title-page. Light foxing to textblock and top edge of textblock slightly grubby. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is a bit grubby to spine and rear panel, is edge worn with slight loss at corners and spine ends and is lightly creased. A nice copy of a scarce Lone Pine title.

Woodle was a Fairy King Bear and goes to the Toyshop where he once lived to take back a Girl Bear to Fairyland... Grey cloth with dark red titles and vignette to front. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Some staining to lower edges of covers. Child's inscription in crayon to front pastedown (dated 1946). Light foxing to endpapers. Some light fingering to page margins and a couple of other marks also. Dustwrapper is worn and creased, grubby to rear panel and chipped with slight loss to spine and corners.
