Songs for a child's day with music. Colour illustrations throughout. 10 x 8.5 ". Green and yellow pictorial paper boards. 29 pages. Boards a little foxed. A few finger marks to margins. Page 12 and facing page 13 has paper residue to bottom corners and small mark. Pictorial wrapper is foxed and torn at edges with loss including most of spine missing (of dustwrapper).

Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to first few and last few pages. A couple of page margins have light fingermarks. A nice copy.

Tissue guard to frontis heavily foxed not affecting plate. Title page lightly foxed. Spine slightly faded and bumped. Corners rubbed.

Blue cloth, white titles. Colour frontis. 8 b/w plates. Written when Russ was 19 years old, he later wrote under the pseudonym of Patrick O'Brian. Superb Tunnicliffe illustrations. REDUCED PRICE. Top and tail of spine slightly faded. Spine slightly bumped. Last few pages lightly foxed else contents fine. Original brown wrapper with pictorial onlay is price-cut and very slightly nicked at top and tail of spine. A lovely copy of this rare title.

Some very faint marking to covers. Light foxing throughout. Lower corner of half-title and frontis creased, tiny nick to edge of half-title page. All other plates fine condition.

One hinge pulled, a few foxspots and finger marks. 2.25" closed tear to bottom edge of 'up with the lark'. A nice copy.

Front endpaper shows characters from fairy tales, rear endpaper characters from nursery rhymes. Red cloth spine with black titles. 10x8". Spine is a little grubby. A few scuff marks to covers. Corners are bumped and worn. Foxing to outer page edges. A few closed margin tears. One hinge pulled. Five of six colour plates missing. 4 b/w illustrations have been coloured in.
