Colour and b/w photos. Horse-drawn vehicles from 18 different countries. Black boards, gilt title to spine. ISBN: 0720712823. SIGNED by the author (no dedication) to title page. Light mark to lower corner of front board. Text block lightly browned. Black pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-creased with creasing to laminate at spine.

Some of Aldin's best work went into this, one of his favourite books. Two volumes. Red cloth, gilt titles and vignette. 12 colour plates in each volume plus numerous text illustrations. Top edges gilt. Both volumes dampstained, a little marked, and faded to spine. Corners bumped. Tissue-guard between frontis and title page missing to volume II. Hinges pulled. Minor foxing to text block. A few grubby marks and minor foxing to contents. All plates present.

Black cloth, gilt titles and horsehead vignette to front. 4 tipped-in colour plates. A horse-racing poem. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Browning to endpapers, light foxing to contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some slight chipping with loss and a grubby mark with some slight surface paper damage to author's name on front panel.
