A US pirated Peter Rabbit story. Altemus' Peter Rabbit Series. Red cloth spine with black title, purple boards with colour onlay to front cover. Colour illustrations. Spine slightly bumped with slight fading to top and tail. Boards are faded. Endpapers lightly browned and front free-endpaper has light corner crease. A couple of small margin marks else contents clean. Scarce dustwrapper is slightly edge chipped with very slight loss, tape repairs on verso.

Child's name in pencil to front free-endpaper. One joint is cracked showing webbing. Endpapers and some page edges browned.
