Second edition. Brown embossed cloth with gilt title to spine. B/w engravings. 355 pages plus booklist to rear. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers scuffed. Book leans to one side a little. Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Joints cracked. Foxing to contents. One gather is part detached causing slight wear to the page edges.

Spine and corners are bumped, rubbed and worn. Front free-endpaper is missing. Joints are cracked. Name in ink to front fly-leaf. Some browning to the corners of front fly-leaf. Crease to one corner tip. Some light margin marks but contents are clean considering it is nearly 200 years old!
