Blue cloth. B/w frontis and 3 other plates. Cream titles. Possible a first edition, war economy edition so pre 1949. White erase fluid over inscription to front endpaper. A little foxing Wrapper edge-chipped and grubby, slight foxing.

One page (65/6) has 2" section torn out along edge. Erased pencil drawings to verso of frontis. Biro scribble to lower margin of contents page.

Contents browned but otherwise clean. Dustwrapper has large section missing to front panel and is otherwise a bit grubby.
