Dark red cloth with gilt title and onlay. 14 carols. 6 double page spread colour plates; 5 other colour plates. 43 pages. 10.25 x 8". Spine faded and bumped with wear to ends. A little wear to corners. Uneven fading to front and rear cover. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Tiny hole to front joint. One hinge cracked. Foxing to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Light page edge browning. All plates present.

Slightly better than good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
A collection of lovely fairy stories. Grey cloth covers, red titles to spine. 7.5 x 5". B/w illustrations. 60 pages. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Crease to cloth at top corner of front cover with pinhole. Some faint marks to covers. Heavy erased pencil lines to front endpapers, half-title page, page 15 and one line to title page. Small part of line on half-title has torn paper which has been repaired on both side with clear tape. Just an odd mark and some foxing otherwise. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with a little loss from base of spine. Grubby with a couple of light stains, foxed on verso. Surface paper damage from label removal on front panel.

Short stories and rhymes. Wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Scratches to covers and crease to bottom corner of rear cover. Prize plate to front endaper. Contents fingered, mainly lower margin. Light stain affects top corner tips of all pages.

Slightly better than good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Bramble is a hedgehog but he is so absentminded that he needs an alarm clock to wake him up. Blue cloth covers with brown titles and vignette. Colour and b/w illustrations 32 pages. Covers grubby and marked. Small hole to cloth on rear cover. A few grubby fingermarks, mainly to lower margins. Erased initials to front endpaper. Dustwrapper is very grubby with some loss, mainly from ends of spine and folds. 3" tear to front panel repaired on verso with clear tape. A couple of other small tears also repaired on verso.

Line of surface paper damage to frontis, looks like it has been stuck to title page. Book has a smell of smoke.

Pen inscription to verso of front endpaper and school plate to front pastedown. 4" tear to page 115/6 and tear to top edge of 117/8, both repaired with clear tape which is now yellowed. Endpapers browned. Some foxing to text block and page edges.
