Fraying to cloth at corners and top and tail of spine. Front endpaper is MISSING. Some pencil marks to some pages internally; at least one colour plate. Grubby margin marks. A reading copy.

Just an odd mark to contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped. Loss from ends of spine. Panels grubby with a few marks.

Bumping to spine and corners and a small bump to top of rear board. Slight fading to bottom of boards. A couple of hinges are cracked. Contents very good, just an odd fox spot. Price -cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped. Wrapper is grubby.

Spine and corners bumped, small splash mark to lower edge of rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers lightly browned. Foxing and fingermarks to contents but generally they are clean. Joints are cracked but binding still tight.
