An exhaustive study of the development of the battalion, brigade and divisional signs of the thirty divisions raised by Kitchener's appeal for men. Brown cloth boards, with silver title to spine. B/w and colour photos. xxx and 351 pages. ISBN: 9781473833661. Light rubbing of board corners. Top edge of boards a little scuffed. A few pages have crinkling to top margin where a page marker was placed. One or two minor marks to contents. Else a lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed.

Dustwrapper states 18 illustrations, title page states 12, contents state 16 illustrations... I count 17 including the illustration to title page (none missing).
