Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The first part of the book is concerned with the history of the Church from Edwardian Conquest to the fifteenth centry. Part II provides an analysis of the state of the church and religious life in Wales durin gthe Yorkist and early Tudor period. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. 602 pages including index.
Boards clean and bright, very minor rubbing to base of spine. Text block browned, foxing to top edge. Endpapers lightly browned. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown is mostly hidden by front flap of dustwrapper. Contents clean. Pale grey dustwrapper has burgundy titles, is grubby and marked with a few tiny chips to edges, browned to spine.
