Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
The economic development of Sout Wales before the Great War was dominated first by the metallurgical industries and later by coal mining. This book is an analysis of this development in its first phase, which ended soon after the middle of the 19th century. Dark green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Browning to top of spine and lower half of spine. Small split to base of spine. Endpapers browned. Contents clean. White dustwrapper is browned and grubby with a few minor foxspots, worn at corners. Musty odour present.
