Almost very good condition. For young people edited by Mrs Gatty. Red three quarter leather binding with marbled boards and text block. Raised bands to spine with gilt lines and titles. Black title block. Contains November 1868 to April 1869. B/w illustrations. 380 pages.

Spine worn with chip from top and bottom edge. Bumping to corners. Wear to corners, cover edges and some of leather. Slight loss from edge of marbling on front cover. Slight scuffing to marbling. Marks to pastedowns, appear to correspond with leather. Pencil writing about contents to title page. A few marks/fingermarks to prelims, contents generally clean.
