Almost very good condition.
Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial boards show children drawing on blackboard. First story is "The Elf-Girl and the Prince". Pretty colour plates by Temple. B/w illustrations throughout including one small picture by Wain featuring 3 cats in the sea. Corners worn. Edges rubbed. Spine slightly faded. Prizeplate to front pastedown. Contents browned and foxed affecting margins of plates.
