MAY CORRY BE DAMNED
Written by George S. Pearson.
Stock no. 1829213
Published by Blaisdon Publishing.
2014.
Slightly better than very good condition.
From official records, personal letters and ships' logs, the lives of two Royal Navy officers are traced through their service, only crossing at one stage whilst serving in HMS Hood. Instead of the close personal relationship between Captain Corry and his Navigating Officer, Lieutenant Lockyer, necessary for sailing an efficient ship, there appeared to be antagonism and animosity. Following this, Lieutenant Lockyer mischievously saw an opportunity to get his own back whilst conducting a hydrographic survey of the Greek island of Lemnos in the Aegean Sea some years later. Pictorial glazed boards. B/w & colour photos. 133 pages. ISBN: 9781902838519. Reprint. SIGNED by the author (with personal dedication) to front endpaper.
