Large format. Green cloth spine & corners, gilt title to spine. Lighter green boards with gilt title to front. 24 colour plate pages of eggs spread across the different volumes at the front. Numerous b/w plates of the birds. Top edges gilt, others untrimmed. Boards grubby and marked. Spine & corners rubbed and worn. Volume 6 has a pin hole to front spine edge which pierces the spine and prelims at the margins. Volume 1 has a white circular label to front pastedown. Volume 3 has name and address in pencil to free front endpaper and small split to cloth of spine. Joints are cracked. Volume 2 has a small split to cloth at top front of spine. Scattered foxspots and a few grubby marks throughout. All 24 colour plates present.
