Red boards, black title to spine. Colour frontis, b/w plates. Darkening to top and tail of spine. Bumping and wear to corners. Light foxing and browning to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with some chips and tears; a little loss.
Green boards, gilt title to spine. 7 b/w illustrations. Spine is browned. Uneven fading to covers. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges.
Red boards, black title to spine. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. Browning and damp marking to base of spine and adjoining rear cover; going through to pastedowns. Foxing and browning to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped; 2" loss to base of spine; other smaller loss to corners.

Red boards, 11 two-tone illustrations. 211 pages. Spine is bumped. Some spotting to covers. Foxing and browning to endpapers, outer page edges and a few page margins. Wrapper is creased with some tears and chips; grubby to rear panel.
Blue boards, red titles and panther vignette. 8 full-page illustrations. 190 pages. Spine and cover edges are browned. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Damp staining to bottom of outer page edges and a little way up some margin pages.
Light brown/orange boards with dark brown titles and decorations. Colour frontis + 6 b/w plates. 1" thick, with 2 ** to half-title page. Reprint. Spine and edges are faded. Black boards, gilt title to spine. Colour frontis. Originally published by Brockhampton Press, this was the last novel completed by the author before his death. This is a Limited to 300 overall copies, this edition is further Limited and contains a hand-drawn illustration to front endpaper by Skilleter. SIGNED by Illustrator (Skilleter) and Publisher (Wright) to title page. This is Copy No. 16. Original hand drawn illustration to front endpaper has been protected by a loose tissue guard. Glue shadows to joints at front and rear (production error).
Limited to 300 Copies, this edition also has an original hand drawn illustration by Skilleter to front endpaper. The first and only hardback edition. 12 stories, plus b/w illustrations. This is Copy No. 229. Tiny knock to top of spine of book and to wrapper. Pale browning to top edge of rear panel of wrapper. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
