Very good condition. Containing 32 maps. New and improved edition with consulting index. Green embossed boards with gilt titles to front. Lists of other atlases, maps and class books published by George Philip and Son to endpapers. Maps are in colour. 21 page index to rear of book.
Couple of minor marks to front board. Text block browned. Foxing mainly to endpapers, prelims and Index page margins but one or two scattered throughout. Maps themselves are clean. Name and date in ink to verso of title page (dated 1879).
