Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. New Naturalist Series. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. The results of over thirty years work among the high hills, the lakes and the moorlands of northern and western Britain. 47 colour and 34 b/w photos, plus 48 maps and diagrams. 312 pages includes index.
Light crease to base of spine, gilt title to spine is dull. Text block browned with minor foxing. Bookplate to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is browned, edge-worn and torn with minimal loss, top of spine to verso is repaired with clear tape, light damp staining to rear panel.
