Slightly better than very good condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper. Very large format. A new edition of Walter Lawry Buller's 'A History of the Birds of New Zealand' reproducing in six-colour offset the 48 stone-plate lithographs by J.G. Keulemans. From the 2nd edition, 1888. Now edited and brought up to date by E.G. Turbott.
Some fading to cloth of covers. Two loosely inserted blank pages protecting first two plates. Very slight yellowing to wrapper. Contained in blue patterned slipcase which has some marks and scuffs. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
