Ladybird series 401. Brown boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. Colour illustrations throughout. Revised verses by Perring. Spine slightly bumped. Faint stain to rear board. Front board slightly bowed. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Light damp stains to top edges of endpapers and preliminary pages. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn with light damp stains on verso.

A few grubby marks to margins (minor). Contents generally nice and clean. Dustwrapper is rubbed at spine and corners and slightly creased to rear panel.
