Nearly fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper.
New Naturalist series. The many aspects that make the islands and their flora and fauna so special: their geography, geology and climate, the people of the islands, the way they use the land and its present-day management. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. colour photos and b/w illustrations. Blue endpapers with repeating NN logo. xii and 450 pages including index. ISBN: 9780002201506. Barely visible slight grubbiness to text block else a beautiful copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is very slightly grubby to vertical edge of rear panel and is NOT faded to spine (as is often the case).
