Revised Edition in new format. A completely new edition of Mr. Walkerley's great introduction to one of the finest sports of all. An essential background to the Grand Prix races held in this country at Silverstone in Northamptonshire. Blue cltoh boards, white title to spine. B/w photos. 108 pages. Spine browned, boards marked. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to text block and endpapers. B/w photo of starting line of a race glued to half-title page (same photo as that on the dustwrapper). Otherwise contents clean. Blue pictorial dustwrapper is edge-repaired with now yellowed tape, browned and rubbed to spine, rear panel grubby. A few newspaper clippings re: Rodney Walkerley included loosely.
Brown boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. Some spots to covers. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is foxed to spine with edge-creasing and some chips.
Black cloth boards, gold titles. B/w photos and drawings. Front board lightly bowed. Light browning to text block.
