An excellent study that dispels a good deal of popular misinformation about a singularly confusing and bitter year of British politics. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. xvi and 464 pages including index. Some faint damp mottling to boards. Lower edge of boards lightly rubbed. Minor foxing to text block. Endpapers browned. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing to contents but generally clean. Dustwrapper is faded & browned to spine, tiny hole to front panel, grubby to rear panel.
