Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Brown boards, gilt decorations on front cover. This New Children's Edition includes eight of Tenniel's original illustrations reproduced in colour. These illustrations first appeared in the 1911 edition but were later abandoned in favour of versions used in the Children's Edition of 1927. The publishers considered that the 1911 illustrations are of outstanding quality and were well worth reviving after sixty years. 179 pages.
Some bumping and wear to spine and corners. Grubby mark to bottom of list of illustrations page otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper has tear to top of spine and rear fold. Spine faded, rear panel very slightly grubby.
