In 1939 Ray Silver was working as a newspaper reporter in his native Canada. He wanted to take part in the biggest story of his lifetime and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. This is the story of those wartime years. B/w photos. ISBN: 1853104647. Bumping to top and tail of spine. Wrapper is faded to spine, with edge-creasing and a few small nicks.
