Small format. Second Edition. Red cloth boards, black title to spine. Large pictorial onlay to front picturing Scarecros and Tinman. B/w illustrations. 189 pages. Top & tail of spine and corners lightly rubbed. Pictorial onlay is a little scuffed. Front endpaper is MISSING. Front hinge starting to pull. A few grubby marks to contents (not bad at all for age). Text block browned.
Yellow cloth spine, gilt blue title. Turquoise blue decorated paper boards. 25 colour & b/w illustrations. Slip case is very good. Bump to bottom. Rubbing/wear to top edges of pictures on covers - colour is partially rubbing away.

Proof copy. Purple card wraps. 4 colour plates and b/w line drawings in the text. 164 pages. ISBN: 460050788. Full length crease to front cover. A few pen marks and grubby fingermarks to contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn with creasing especially at top of spine. Slight fading to spine. Ink stamp to rear flap. Proof only printed on front flap.
Abridged text. Red pictorial boards, spiral bound. 6 colour illustrations with moving parts. Covers are edge rubbed with some wear. Light crease to top corner of rear cover. Heavy pencil inscription has been erased from top of title page but has left and impression. Tabs for moving the pictures are a bit weak and most have had the word "move" written on them in ink. Some page corners are slightly creased. A decent copy of a scarce book.
