Blue cloth with black title to spine, large pictorial onlay to front cover. 236 pages. 8 plates and numerous b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers rubbed and scuffed. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Endpapers browned, foxing and fingering to contents.

ISBN: 1581170580. Booklet containing press-out pieces is still present and unused. A few small knocks along cover edges.

Inscription in ink to belongs to page (fly-leaf). Colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 282 pages. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn, spine slightly faded. Inscription in ink to belongs to page (fly-leaf). Some neat colouring to the b/w illustrations. Light foxing and page browning.

Top & tail of spine and corners lightly rubbed. Pictorial onlay is a little scuffed. Front endpaper is MISSING. Front hinge starting to pull. A few grubby marks to contents (not bad at all for age). Text block browned.

Abridged text. Red pictorial boards, spiral bound. 6 colour illustrations with moving parts. Covers are edge rubbed with some wear. Light crease to top corner of rear cover. Heavy pencil inscription has been erased from top of title page but has left and impression. Tabs for moving the pictures are a bit weak and most have had the word "move" written on them in ink. Some page corners are slightly creased. A decent copy of a scarce book.
